This is where I pretend like people who don't know me are going to come to this site and be like, "Wow. This guy has such original, thought provoking ideas. If only I knew more about him." So here's my story.

I came to my current location and profession - college English teacher in China - through a long, complicated stretch as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Serving first in Kyrgyzstan, I was evacuated after only four months because of 9/11. I began anew in PC China, but was then again evacuated after 9 months because of SARS. (What are the odds?) Determined to finish my term, I returned to my previous position in China as a private teacher (i.e. not a PCV) to finish the remainder of my 'obligation'. Chinalogue is my website from my time as a PCV in China.

What am I going to do after I finish here? Who knows? I am open to suggestions and job offers.

For those of you who are new to the world of weblogs, this web journal style webpage is called a weblog or blog for short. The idea is that you make a template, to which you automatically publish new entries. It is similar to writing an email. Instead of sending the 'email' to some person, you send it to your blog.

Enjoy.
